Get to know Emily

Welcome to my website!
My name is Emily and I am available for consultation for any of my personal chef services.
I originally planned to become a marine research scientist, hoping to be a catalyst in the fight against climate change. I even went to Trinidad & Tobago on a Fulbright scholarship to survey shark fishing in the hope of making a contribution to that effort. But when I came back to the States and found myself craving something else, I took some time to figure out what my lifelong passion could be. Eventually I realized that cooking didn’t have to be a hobby, that if it brought me joy I could turn it into a career.
From there it was a no-brainer. I enrolled in culinary school at Cambridge School of Culinary Arts (CSCA) and it all started coming together. I could finally refine the skills I had started to explore at home, and it was a pleasure to be surrounded by others seeking to do the same. Once I graduated from CSCA I began working as a line cook at Fox & the Knife in South Boston. Though I gained some valuable experience from the restaurant I was craving something more, an opportunity to apply my creativity to make a more personal impact with food.
My goal is to make your life easier by taking dinner off your hands so you can focus on whatever is important to you. I’m happy to accommodate any allergies, food intolerances, or general preferences to provide you with healthy meals that meet your needs.
